La Dolda was born out of our desire to celebrate the family tradition of homemade fresh pasta. “La Dolda” is the name of the family house in Emilia Romagna (birthplace of fresh pasta) where my mother Daniela grew up eating fresh pasta made daily on the kitchen table.
We want to celebrate the joy, the passion and traditional values of northern Italian family recipes.
We combine Matteo’s love for pasta with Alessandra’s vision, being an Italian MD, on nutritional values and healthy eating. We always use premium ingredients grown as nature intended (without persistent pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, GMOs, antibiotics, added growth hormones, artificial colors, artificial flavors and added sugars) by sourcing organic ingredients when available or as alternative, all natural.
